The Timbre speaker from Australia’s Bruns Acoustics looks like a relic from the early days of rock-n-roll. That is intentional. But beneath the leather handle, salvaged timber exterior and aluminum hardware, the internals are rigged for bluetooth connectivity.
We have a passion for technology, and a real addiction to music, when the two cross paths, hours upon hours of time can be wasted. Well today the good folks over at the Australian based design team, Bruns Acoustic, are back, returning with another stunning piece of art/technology for our enjoyment. Today we get a first look at the Timbre bluetooth speaker, an impressive, old school looking piece that boasts quality sound.
The speaker boasts a 75W analog amplifier, 2 x 3″ full range speakers, and 3.5″ subwoofer, giving you some great sounds and good vibes no matter where you are. Bruns Acoustic hand-builds these speakers from salvaged Australian trees, adding their own unique mix of aluminum billet handle trims and stainless steel hardware to accent the piece.
